Concert for the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Albania - USA “Derek Han Tribute Concert”

In 2022, ARTE Foundation was selected as the official organizer of the commemorative concert marking the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Albania and the United States of America. Within this framework, a tribute concert was held at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in honor of Derek Han, the distinguished American pianist and a longstanding supporter of Albanian musical talents worldwide. The concert featured the Symphony Orchestra of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet, alongside prominent soloists, and was conceived as a high-level artistic and diplomatic initiative celebrating cultural exchange, artistic excellence, and international cooperation. Following its premiere in Tirana, the project expanded into a regional concert tour, with performances in Skopje and Pristina, reinforcing its role as a platform for cultural dialogue and cross-border artistic collaboration in the region.
